Running for Portland City Council District 3

Moving Portland Forward

Portland deserves leaders who do the work.

For 21 years, I've served this city — not from the sidelines, but inside the rooms where problems get solved. As a nonprofit leader, a strategic planner, and a trusted partner inside City Hall, I've spent my career building coalitions, delivering results, and showing up when it matters.

I'm running for City Council because District 3 deserves representation that's truly focused on what matters to you — real solutions, real progress, and a voice that stays grounded in our community's needs.

A Career Built on Results

I started at Portland Parks & Recreation in 2005 as a volunteer coordinator, where I saw firsthand the extraordinary commitment Portlanders bring to their neighborhoods and public spaces. That spirit — alongside the dedication of our skilled parks workers and the investment of Portland voters — built one of the best parks systems in the country.

Since then, I've led strategic planning for a nonprofit advancing educational equity across six school districts. I served inside City Hall during some of the most challenging moments Portland has faced, helping navigate complex problems and deliver outcomes that mattered. Today, I'm back at Portland Parks & Recreation, building creative partnerships that strengthen our parks, our community programs, our natural ecosystems, and our local economy.

What I’ll Fight For

A City That Works for You

Portland deserves a government that shows up with focus, accountability, and respect for the people it serves.

Safer, Stronger Neighborhoods

Every Portlander deserves to feel safe in their community and in our public spaces. That means investing in proven strategies, listening to the people closest to the problem, and holding ourselves accountable for outcomes — not just intentions.

Restoring Portland’s Quality of Life

Affordable housing. Clean streets. Strong parks. Thriving small businesses. Vibrant neighborhoods. These aren't aspirational slogans — they're the basic expectations Portlanders have for the city they love and the taxes they pay.

Leadership That Brings People Together

Real progress requires building common ground across differences — not drawing lines and daring people to cross them. I've spent my career doing exactly that, and I'll bring that same approach to City Hall.

Be One of Our First 250

To qualify for Portland's Small Donor Election Program, we need to reach 250 Portland donors. When you contribute today, you're not just backing a campaign — you're helping prove that Portlanders are ready for leadership that's serious, effective, and accountable.
